The querist has not clarified whether this son is his only child, or, the only son among other children he may have, in which case the chronological order matters very much….hence difficulty persists in fixing the exact position of Lagna of the person concerned; here, the 5th house of the chart is taken as the Lagna for further analysis.
      The Horary Moon is in the star of a plant which owns the 5th house, indicative of one’s eldest progeny; and through the sub lord, it signifies the professional-related matters of this person.
      From the queries raised, it is to be seen whether his desire to see his son enjoy an uninterrupted inning in his career for the next 10 years in the current place of work, with any addition of glory by way of promotion and of his having any chance to go abroad within the next 5-6 years of service.
      For the querist, the cuspal point on his desire fulfillment house by a planet having an occupation in the 8th house of a hindrance, in the company of delay-causing planet, thereby indicating any wild expectation.

My grandson got admission in B.Tech course in 2017 on merit basis (he got 87% marks in class XII CBSE) but could not pass even the first year exam in the last 2 years and left the course inspite of Yogakaraka Venu’s Dasa running. He is now appearing for the admission test for the pilot training course conducted by the DGCA Government of India. Kindly examine his career prospects.   9. Kindly examine the charts of my daughter on her marriage or live-in relationship with a suitable match, if any. The exalted 7th lord Venus, Vergottama Ascendant and the Sun, it appears, have all become helpless in the face of Kuja Dosha and Jupiter’s adverse position. Is it a case of inordinate delay or denial?
    Her birth details are; 11/04/1976 at 22 N 07, 84 E 02 with a balance of 12 years 3 months 3 days of Venus Dasa at birth.

    1. The chart, at first sight, is somewhat baffling. The Ascendant is Vagottama but its ruler Mars is in the 8th house which acts as a blight on the rest of the chart. The 7th lord in the 5th is exalted and luckily, too far from the Sun and therefore, not combust. Hence, some house is not occupied by any plant and its ruler Venus Dasa was over at birth. Currently, Rahu Dasa is on and Rahu is in the 12th house in a Venusian sign and can reflect the results of the 7th lord. Further, Rahu is aspected by 5th lord Jupiter and the 8th cum 11th lord Mercury. Hence Venus Bhukti which runs from February 2023 for a period of 3 years may help her find a suitable match in the sense of marriage. This is a case of delay only; not denial.

Generally, this kind of disposition does not bestow permanent nature of work. At present, the native is undergoing Rahu-Rahu period, very much conductive for employment abroad. Even though your 10th lord Venus is quite favourably placed in the 10th, in its own house, it is combust, retrograde and conjuct with 8th lord Sun (maraka) and great functional malefic Jupiter (3rd and 12th lord) speaking about your never-ending woes at the career-front. Added to that, your Ascendant lord Saturn is in the 4th house, in deblitation, which will keep affecting your life in general. Currently you are undergoing the dasa of Mars (maraka and badhaka). The current bhukti of debilitated Saturn will not be much supportive. The next Bhukti of Mercury (functional benefic) from late August 2019 could help you to get some assignment, even though it may not be upto your expectations.
